Construction is a very complex industry which is highly governed by customs and practices that are poorly understood by those outside the industry. It is also the only undertaking I can think of where the customer can watch the entire process unfold and have direct contact with those doing the work as they do it. Over the years I have seen many situations develop that required special management and attention. The following are ten of the more significant issues that arise in construction.
